Apologies, it was a hasty copy and paste job, it appears I missed a minor edit. Yes, there is a Brum version, so if anyone obtains a copy, would they be able to post a correct local e-mail contact?

Post 15th press release off of Enturb:

http://forums.enturbulation.org/showthread.php?t=4652

connorcam - March 19, 2008 09:58 PM (GMT)
On a related note, would it be possible to place an advert in something such as the Metro informing readers of April 12 as well as Scientology's crimes?

Or are there certain rules restricting 'propaganda' like this?

Propaganda is a big no no

I suppose you could do a lonely heart thing looking for exscientologist who were disconnect from there family to meet outside ethnal street on the 12th April to have a chance to reunite with there loved ones.

Saw this on Enturb.

Many praise to the Guardian... Anyone think /b/tards are behind this?

And BTW:
^ Epic list, Good, or bad idea to BCC the press release to all of them?

I'll do that closer to the time - I've got an anonynous e-mail set up, and Enturb are currently working on finalising another, definate, press release.

Anon76 - March 21, 2008 02:21 PM (GMT)
These national press email addresses are great, but we should perhaps compile a local list of media emails in the west midlands.

The national ones are much more likely to go to London than to Brum.

The local media are more likely to come to Brum.

A local press release, should be prepared for the local media and a seperate national one for the national media.

Falco - March 21, 2008 02:51 PM (GMT)
The latest one i've seen being prepared was due to be aimed at talking about the London protests, so I was planning on adapting that for our local use.

If someone can add the list of local media, I'll send the release out to them at the same time as the others.

Thanks :)

I was just concerned that we didn't seem to get any for the March protest.

spoon - April 3, 2008 02:24 PM (GMT)
The front page headline of today's Birmingham Mail is

'Cult' sets up HQ in Brum
Fears over Church of Scientology base

The article goes on to highlight their new place in Mosely. Very good article too, pretty much everybody they spoke to only had bad things to say about the Co$, and they mention that the Co$ had been dodging their questions. There's a mention of Anonymous, including a reference to our last protest. At the top of page two they've also printed the Xenu story.

WIN. :D

Anyone, scan this?

My scanner's been quite annoying lately but I'll give it a go, might take a while if it works at all.

The last column in the section about LRH that my scanner cut off reads:

...book which chronicled the
experiences of scientologists
in past lives.
These included memories of
being "deceived into a love
affair with a robot decked out
as a beautiful red-haired girl",
being run over by a Martian
bishop driving a steamroller
and being transformed into an
intergalactic walrus that fell
out of a flying saucer."

Press release was sent the other day by the way.

It would seem the BBC is interested in coming to interview Martin Poulter, so it looks like we're going to be getting coverage this time as well.

I'll keep you updated of any further interest.

It looks like I'm going to be talking to one TV, one radio and one press journalist in the next 48 hours: two of those specifically about the Birmingham protest; another about the Wikileaks documents. I'll try and put on a good show.
