Well, they probably could. If I encountered a herd of wild horses frolicking in the meadow, fetlocks flying and strong flanks glistening in the sunlight, I'd stand transfixed in rapt adoration, watching the panoply of nature unfold before me. I'd certainly miss the raid, or anything else I was meant to be doing.
