Hi Yaal
Just picked up a nice new 35w megaphone from the land of the 'Vorsprung durch Technik' and which will be wheeled into action on 12/4 in New Street.
This does however leave me needing to find a home for a once used (London TCR 15/3) 10W Adastra megaphone in perfect condition (box was slung). Obviously not as loud as a 35w contraption but still pretty good, very clear and really saves the vocal chords.

Anybody fancy a flutter for a Tenner and I will throw in 6 Panasonic AA alkaline batteries so it will be ready to go.

With all these megaphones we could do a little Q&A between the megaphone anons using the questions and answers from the pop quiz thread.
For instance:

The nice new megaphone finally arrived today, been waiting for nearly 2 weeks, first paypal screwed my account on flebay then the courier firm from hell took 5 days for an overnight delivery. 8 x Duracells in and WOW this is some mean machine.
German police issue I am told from Bremen. German solidity would be an understatement. Big, LOUD, very clear (speech and music), plus siren in case of attack. I'm sure it's lined with concrete !!
