Last time i wrote up some questions i reckoned people would ask on the day, and a lot of them were asked.

So, with Operation Reconnect in mind, here are yet MOAR questions!

1) What is Disconnection?
2) Why are Scientologists forced to disconnect?
3) At what level are Scientologists forced to disconnect?
4) Do ALL Scientologists have to disconnect?
5) Is it true that Children have to make a decision between scientology and their parents?
6) I don't believe you, why should i believe this?
7) If this happens, how come i've never heard of it on the news or in the papers?

1) What is Disconnection?
Disconnection is where Scientology forces members of their cult/ church to close all channels of communication/ contact with someone, this can be anyone from from friends to family.

2) Why are Scientologists forced to disconnect?
Because a friend/ family disagrees with Scientology, and the CO$ doesn't want any negative suggestions/ thought-provoking questions being put to their members.

3) At what level are Scientologists forced to disconnect?
At Any level, but it generally happens early on.

4) Do ALL Scientologists have to disconnect?
No. Only those who the CO$ believes are in contact with people who may have a negative influence on their brainwashing.

5) Is it true that Children have to make a decision between scientology and their parents?
Often children are not allowed to see their children for weeks, months even years at a time. Examples of this are plain on exscientologykids.com

6) I don't believe you, why should i believe this?

7) If this happens, how come i've never heard of it on the news or in the papers?
The CO$ has a division called the office of special affairs. Essentially their secret service, and lawyers. It deals with the media, and critics of scientolgoy. As the organisation is quite rich, few people find out about the negative aspects.

8) What happens to Scientologists who reconnect?
They are excommunicated.
