anonsrus - March 31, 2008 06:06 PM (GMT)
Last minute planning here guise, to keep other topics clean.
What kind of time are we looking at for dispersal? I am planning my bus route now.
I will have a camera ready, and some 12"x12" square signs. Anything else necessary?
What does anon think the likelihood of scilon spais will be after Monday?
Foamanon - March 31, 2008 06:19 PM (GMT)

Just posted this in the other thread but may be more appropriate here:
I have a suggestion.
If a member of the public seems interested and supportive of our cause, we should suggest that they go to the customer service desk in the shopping centre and complain that they find the exhibition offensive.
It's unlikely to stop the current exhibition but will make them think twice before allowing any future CCHR exhibitions.

Sounds like a really good idea.
You could also bring some notepaper and envelopes along and encourage people to file complaints against the exhibition. Take along a model letter and get people to write variations on that theme.

Does anybody vvant me to bring my portable speakers or is this a no-music protest?
Lulz0matic - April 2, 2008 11:28 AM (GMT)
The police didn't say no music, they said they may ask us to stop though.
They're playing things by ear...

I'm still not sure whether I can come, I really hope I can but have other commitments that I need to try to get out of.
I've not had the chance to buy the materials for a sign, is there a partners nearby so I can knock something up on the morning?
Also is there anyone who can write something freehand on a sign that doesn't look like a drunken spider has crawled across the cardboard?
My freehand writing is terrible.

Apparently the CCHR shut down the exhibit for a while, I was told it was blacked out.
This week approx 460 flyers have been handed out.
We stood with signage
We rickrolled with dancing at the end, bemused shoppers ahoy!
WIN!
Well done all round.

The only problem was I discovered my portable speakers sucked donkey dick when used outside. Also: too much moisture in the mask.
Apart from that, win. A shame we got turned away before getting to the exhibit :( .

It was a sight to be hold. Sadly, not even Martha could help on that though she gave a lot of feedback.
