_Why are we protesting?_

Our protests have two main aims; to make the public aware of the Church of Scientology's unethical practices and illegal activities, such as their [http://www.scientologydisconnection.com/|disconnection policy], [http://www.xenu.net/fairgame-e.html|fair game policy] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Snow_White|Operation Snow White].
Secondly, to show the general membership of the Church that the organization they support is corrupt and consistently lies to them, in the hope that they will ask questions of the organization and push for reform.

_Is this religious hate? Why not protest against any other religion?_

We are not protesting against the member's beliefs or their right to practice them; we hold human rights in very high regard.
We are protesting against the organization's practices, such as the [http://youtube.com/watch?v=ge0OLgmIbeg|exploitation of it's members] and [http://youtube.com/watch?v=iRAhzq_BYWw|harassment of it's critics].

_Who are Anonymous?_

We are a collection of individuals united by ideas. As such, every individual is both leader and member as everyone's ideas are used to shape the group. There is no organising group within Anonymous leading or directing, just the collective agreement of the whole.

_Did Anonymous DDoS the Church's websites?_

Yes. These were stopped after a few days due to [www.xenutv.com|Mark Bunker] (affectionately known as Wise Beard Man) commenting that the only methods that can be used against the Church must be legal. Thus all DDoS attacks were halted and peaceful protests planned.

_What are the current plans of action?_

Anonymous will be continuing with it's peaceful protests, the next being on April 12th, in conjunction with Operation: Reconnect, which highlights the Church's inhumane disconnection policy.
Birmingham Anonymous are also conducting Operation Happy Shopper, aimed at the Church's front group the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR), a group who try to discredit psychiatry as "an industry of death", but fail to mention their strong ties with the Church.
We also plan to protest and inform the public about the "Ideal Org" possibly opening in Moseley.
