Title: Chants

Anon76 - March 3, 2008 06:41 PM (GMT)
It would be a good idea if we had a few chants prepared in advance.

Shouty man was great last time - but it was all pretty much made up on the spot. It would be a good idea if we had some ideas planned out in advance this time.

Any ideas.

The ones I remember from last time are:
CODE

Ron is gone but the con lives on
CODE

Is religion free - Yes
Is Knowledge free - Yes
Is Scientology free - No
CODE

2 4 6 8 L Ron Hubbard Was No Saint
3 5 7 9 Scientology, what's your crime.

Tum Tum - March 3, 2008 07:53 PM (GMT)
Those are good chants.

I can't think of any at this moment in time, that has not got a football related theme to it.

Hermes - March 3, 2008 08:02 PM (GMT)
Time for yet another shameless plug of the chant I thought of:

To the tune of the end of "The Angry Mob" by Kaiser Chiefs

We are Anonymous,
We check the forums everyday,
We do not forgive,
We do not forget,
And we're not so easily swayed.

(Up for editing especially the last line)

Whilst this might be fun for us, the main idea of the chants is to get the message across to the general public, I think we should concentrate on chants which the public will understand.

We should concentrate on the CoS rather than ourselves.

Good point, ah well back to the drawing board

Yeah, I also think this would be quit hard to chant in sync.
It's too slow in a way.

Good idea though, keep them coming.

anon1812 - March 3, 2008 10:59 PM (GMT)
To quote London...

"This is a cult" *point to CO$*
"This is a church" *point to church opposite*

Due to an immediate lack of church opposite... and/or police horses ("This is a cult... this is a horse")

"This is a cult..."
"This is *Insert something here*"

*Chez Jules?

Failing that:

Xenu Xenu Xenu Xenu
Xenu Xenu Xenu Xenu
Xenu Xenu Xenu Xenu
Xenu Xenu Xenu Xenu
THETAN THETAN!!!
... ... ...
A Fake... Fake... It's all a Fake...

[Chanted to the Tune of Badger Mushroom Snake]

My Opinion: XENU THETAN FAKE = Epic Win.

Hermes - March 4, 2008 12:19 AM (GMT)
Lol the badger song :)

Ok hows about this:
To the tune of "10 German Bombers"

There were 10 Thetans flying in the air,
There were 10 Thetans flying in the air,
There were 10 Thetans flying,
10 Thetans flying,
10 Thetans flying in the air,

Then overlord Xenu dropped some bombs,
Overlord Xenu dropped some bombs,
Overlord Xenu,
Overlord Xenu,
Overlord Xenu dropped some bombs,

Then there were 9 Thetans flying in the air,
There were 9 Thetans flying in the air,

(and so on and so forth untill...)

There were no Thetans flying in the air,
There were no Thetans flying in the air,
There were no Thetans flying,
No Thetans flying,
No Thetans flying,
No Thetans flying in the air,

anon1812 - March 4, 2008 12:57 AM (GMT)
Carefull now... "Bombs on Thetatans... Surely this is religious Bigotry/ Hatred"

I can see a very easy spin on this for CO$

Hermes - March 4, 2008 12:59 AM (GMT)
True, true... but that is OT3 isn't it?
Ok, substitute "Overlord Xenu dropped some bombs" to "Overlord Xenu set a trap"

anonuk323 - March 4, 2008 10:38 AM (GMT)
I think we should be pointing out the human rights violations, the fact its a ll a con and how dangerous the cult is, rather than mocking their "beliefs"; either the Brum scilons aren't OTIII (and thus never heard of it) or some are and can claim "religious bigotry".
Either way, the general public don't know about OTIII, and we run the real risk of alienating them if we come across as bigots.
Cold as it sounds, we need to pull their heart strings; families torn apart, people committing suicide, people bankrupt, forced labour and child abuse. At the Feb 10th protest, right at the end, a woman with her kid read one of our flyers about these human aspects, stated that it isn't right and shouldn't be allowed and went and roasted the scilons on the front door; thats the type of response we should be aiming for.
But apart from that, keep up the good chants ;)

TheDudeWhoWearsTheNirvanaShirt - March 4, 2008 11:11 AM (GMT)
I might try my hand at making the Xenu/Badger flash... would be fun...

Anon76 - March 4, 2008 12:27 PM (GMT)
How about
CODE

Chant leader : Lisa Mcpherson
All: Why is she dead?

Chant leader : Noah Lottic
All: Why is he dead?

Chant leader : Susan Meister
All: Why is she dead?

Chant leader : Elli Perkins
All: Why is she dead?

Chant leader : Heribert Pfaff
All: Why is he dead?

anon1812 - March 4, 2008 01:12 PM (GMT)
Good plan... But How do you pronounce them? And... Lead Chant would have to be Very Clear and Audible.

Anon76 - March 4, 2008 02:07 PM (GMT)
Mr Shouty Man was a very good chant leader last time so I'm sure he would have no problem, apart from the last name perhaps. I believe that this time we may have a megaphone to help too.

We could easily change that name for one of the dozens of other victims of scientology.

TheDudeWhoWearsTheNirvanaShirt - March 4, 2008 08:10 PM (GMT)
Mr Shouty Man! Lol....

Pronunciations.

Lisa Mc-Fear-son
Noah Lot-ick
Susan My-Ster
Elli Perkins
Herry-Bert Faff

If there's something suitable we can use in the vicinity, then I say this is possibly one of the most effective we can use.

It would have been easier for you to just split the topic..
(assuming you can do that on this kind of forum)

Anon76 - March 4, 2008 09:12 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I think there it is possible to do that, ah well, the new topic is created now.

TheDudeWhoWearsTheNirvanaShirt - March 4, 2008 10:21 PM (GMT)
You can do it, Invisionfree is wonderful for that sort of thing...

But it is easier to make a new topic.

Technically, it would have prevented these four - no, five now - posts from being posted and taking the thread on a detour.

Yeah, chants...
Just out of interest, what else is within sight of the Church? Anyone here know?

#06: Sea Org Clowns are Coing to Town
tune, ''Santa Clause is coming to Town''

You'd better not fail, you'd better not age,
You'd better not catch D.M. in a rage:
Sea-Org Clowns are coming to Town
They're making a list and checking it twice
Who's bringing in dosh whose making their price
Sea Org Clowns are coming to Town
They'll wear their spiffy uniforms
And strut around the ''Org''
They'll put you on the R--P--F
So make Cash....for CashFlow's sake!!
You'd better not fail, you'd better not age,
You'd better not catch D.M. in a rage:
Sea-Org Clowns are coming to Town.

-oOo-

You'd better watch out, you'd better beware,
You'd better produce don't talk about ''fair'':
Sea-Org Clowns are coming to Town.
They're checking for dust, they're checking your cuffs,
Who's been a good slave while earning peaNUTS:
Sea Org Clowns are coming to Town.
They'll wear their spiffy uniforms
And strut around the ''Org''
They'll put you on the R--P--F
So make Cash....for CashFlow's sake!!
You'd better watch out, you'd better beware,
You'd better produce don't talk about ''fair'':

I was thinking somthing like

"Happy Birthday to RON"
"You're Church is a CON"

but I cant think of anything else to rhyme at the end of that

Obviously in the tune of happy birthday
