A few last minute tips for newbies.
A reminder for the rest of us
Feel free to add any other tips you think may help those who are new to this
1. We have had no response from the police to our official notice of the demo tomorrow. The police generally allowed our protests to go ahead without too much interference on the previous 2 occasions and numbers will probably be slightly fewer this time so nothing should change. However, should the police make a lawful request then do comply immediately. Any request they make should be appropriate and proportionate to the occasion but we should comply with their wishes.
2. Please do not obstruct shop entrances and make sure at all times that the general public enjoy a right of passage.
3. Be vigilant, just because a someone wears a mask does not necessarily mean he/she is an Anon, don't give any personal details on the day, use pseudonyms, even with friends, as you don't know who may be listening. Just because nobody has been fair-gamed in the UK yet doesn't mean we are completely out of the water, a Mask or Disguise of some sort is highly reccomended and KEEP it on, or there's no point wearing it.
4. Try to be aware of what is happening around you at all times, don't react to anything they may do to provoke you into a negative reaction. Last time they bought two kids out to swear and make rude hand gestures at us, do NOT react to any such provocation but try to get it on film. Report anything to the stweards/police if you feel it is necessary.
5. Nobody was bullbaited at the previous 2 protests but you never know when they may start. If any Anon is subject to bullbaiting then do NOT engage, gently turn your back on the protagonist and regain your personal space. attract the attention of those with cameras or especially video cameras to get it all recorded.
6. General rule of thumb re photos/video: If the party is on Public property or incidental thereto then there is no good reason why photographs should not be taken. Respect peoples privacy on private property. In other words if they are on the street or in the open entranceway to the Scientology Centre you are perfectly entitled to photograph or video them. On Feb 10th A Scilon security guy tried to get us to delete photos of him, you do not have to comply with any such requests.
7. In the unlikely event you are followed simply remain in a public place. If necessary walk to a police station or police officer, point out the person(s) following you and say you are being followed/harrassed and ask for their help/intervention.

+1 to all these tips- essential reading.
Pedant corner: there's a long history of Fair Game being used in this country, and some people whose lives have been ruined just because they dared to speak out. *UK Anonymous* seem to have escaped Fair Game so far, just because there's so many of us/you and so few OSA staff. I know that's what you meant: just don't want people getting the wrong idea.
Do we know how many OSA there actually are in the UK?
