Oi! I meant share-able snacks, not meals!
Buckethead - April 13, 2008 02:36 PM (GMT)
Well I spent ALL the money I had yesterday on Haribo, Cake and 6 bottles of water (two were drank <_< ).
I like the Cake idea, there are many varieties, you can decorate them (themed cakes? Didn't see any yesterday but would be nice).
Also saw big packets of crisps that was a good idea.
Also, pie?
Pie is sharable.
Can be eaten cold.
Comes in Sweet and Savoury.

AHA!!! I remember you!!! Most kind, sir!!!
I'd suggest mask-consume-able sweets... Laces/ Haribo?
Buckethead - April 13, 2008 03:46 PM (GMT)
Though it seems a bit bland.
Bread is always nice.
Like french stick/baguette stuff, just break a bit off and consume.
Though masks are a problem with this!
Anonynonynony - April 13, 2008 05:34 PM (GMT)
crusty bread leik french stick or uncut loaf avec humous, dunk bread in humous, eat then breathe on scilons. mmm a bbq would be nice in summer I do a awesome steak with jack daniels marinade. Ya and sorry for not talking much on saturday I was on a mighty comedown
anon1812 - April 13, 2008 05:59 PM (GMT)

Messy, but Epic.
Annoam - April 13, 2008 06:15 PM (GMT)
Would the police have any objections to some of those disposable bbq's?
Falco - April 13, 2008 06:25 PM (GMT)
Leave it until summer to start thinking about that methinks.
Annoam - April 13, 2008 06:27 PM (GMT)
GorillaWarfare - April 13, 2008 06:35 PM (GMT)
If this year's weather is anything to go by, then no.
Anonynonynony - April 13, 2008 06:58 PM (GMT)
tis far away but the police prolly (if anything) only be happy with an ember free cooking method ie. gas bbq. Would be looking at permissions, basic food hygene certs etc even if the food was free for all
Venom - April 13, 2008 07:57 PM (GMT)

Sounds epic beyond all proportions my friend.
Also, as part of music playing, we need What is love? by Haddaway.
GorillaWarfare - April 13, 2008 08:47 PM (GMT)
This is the snack thread not the music thread, grrr get offa my thread! *points shotgun*
anon for the win - April 13, 2008 10:16 PM (GMT)
Chocolate fingers = epic win
Also agree about bread. If we can manage cake through masks i'm sure we can manage bread :)
Annoam - April 13, 2008 10:22 PM (GMT)
Sandwhichs, all this talk of snacks and your all forgetting those tiny triangle shapped chese sandwhichs u get at partys
Helmetanon - April 14, 2008 12:10 AM (GMT)
funds willing, I'll splash on one of those big round tins of Roses, or something similar.
Bucko - April 14, 2008 08:25 AM (GMT)
What about Matchmakers? They're thin and could probably fit through the mask, they're also minty, leaving you with fresh breath so that you don't die from your own stench. :D
over9000 - April 14, 2008 08:49 AM (GMT)
My friends has suggested Hobnobs, jam sandwhiches and big bags of skittles.
nail - April 14, 2008 09:19 AM (GMT)
I'm okay without food. However, I may bring some for others.
Lulz0matic - April 14, 2008 09:39 AM (GMT)
Guys,
The food is barely the point.
SAGE.

I feel proud that I bought two packs for the 12th ^_^
And yeah the food isn't the point. HOWEVER we need provisions to keep us goin' ;)
But seriously I ended up so famished on the 12th, I was hungry (for real food, not just delicious and moist caek) that I couldn't stand properly.
So it may be needed, for the protest to continue, that we have provisions to keep us, alive, as it were.
Anty - April 14, 2008 03:54 PM (GMT)
I will hopefully be able to eat by next protest so how about Oreos? !
AnonP1ZZ4 - April 14, 2008 04:03 PM (GMT)

Yeees, yeees! Finally, the recognition I deserve!

I'd suggest getting the cheap stuff from Asda and Woolies. I'll happily stump up some cash on the day if you're willing to pop and get it.
Necrosis - April 14, 2008 08:58 PM (GMT)
Pringles? Or are they too addictive? lol
There always on offer at the cheap ass shops.
I'd pay for my share of anything I eat, it's only fair i guess. Seeing as im always hungry.

Surely a handful of these can be brought from Pound Stores? If a handful of people were to chip in a couple of quids-worth of snacks, we could set something decent up.
Bucko - April 14, 2008 10:38 PM (GMT)
I'm willing to get some stuff.
anonuk323 - April 15, 2008 02:25 PM (GMT)
Please, nobody bring a BBQ or similar; it hits a lot of H&S laws, food hygiene, street sellers, then theres keeping stuff cool, clean, clearing epic rubbish .... all in the middle of new street next to a load of food shops; busting up the goodwill and rapport with these people is a good an idea as a hedgehog in a condom factory.
Also, don't bring tons of food. I reckon bring enough for your group +3 anon. ish.
I'm always touched and really proud about how generous brumanon are, but we shouldn't go overboard with it else we'll look like a load of greedy bast... people. ;)
