I went into Forbidden Planet yesterday afternoon, inquiring about the V masks. (Followed by the guy saying "lol scientology raider").

Anyway, they had one which was reserved for Saturday, but no one picked it up. The guy offered it to me, but since I had no money I left it.

So, if anyone did reserve one, they still have it, but are trying to sell it. And they won't get anymore until later this week.

Just thought I'd give you the heads up.

The online store is useless for getting a mask. You'd do a better job to go into the shop.

It's just too expensive to go to the shop just for the mask though. I don't live in Birmingham.

If you reserve one at the shop, keep checking to make sure they've remembered to reserve it. Loli nearly lost hers when they 'forgot' to put one aside for her.

I have a V Mask - but will probably wear something different next time.

I'll be happy to give it to any other anon who wants it, Unfortunately, the little bit of foam from the inside has come off, but if anyone wants it, send me a PM and I'll give it to you on the day.

You could easily buy some foam and tape it or glue it on, I imagine.

I may actually have to buy one for next time.
Though arriving in Buckethead gear probably mix and match throughout the day or give it to a fellow Anon who needs face coverage :)

I walked past you guys on saturday and was so pleased that people were taking a stand. I realised I need to be a part of it and join the masses for something that I and we believe in. Hurray lol

Also, seeing someone dressed as Buckethead made my day aswell. Ive never seen another buckethead fan lol.

the only problem with buying them of the net is the P&P cuz there only cheep the P&P always seems rely high compared to the price of the item

I would suggest if you're going to get a mask, you get one as soon as possible, to be sure. Places sell out rapidly when a protest is just around the corner.

I also suggest if you are a glasses wearer, you wear them OUTSIDE the mask to minimize fogging.

I was able to go most of the day without actually needing them, and my eyesight is pretty bad. I'd say they're only worth wearing if you really need to.

I asked recently at another forbidden planet for you all, and was told that they had no plans to ever stock the V masks. Oddly enough, the rest of the costume (cloak, daggers,etcetc) was on order, but the masks were not.

God, that shop fails so much.
Does anyone know is Nostalgia and Comics sells the masks?

They were sold out when I was looking, but they do have them on their stock list.

I'm willing to hand mine over to a needy Anon. Those masks look awesome, but they aren't that great when you need your glasses to correct HORRIBLE short-sighted vision like I do, which is why I'll be adjusting my armour for the next one to something that I can actually wear my glasses under.

Payment optional. The mask cost me a fiver but is slightly battered now, so I'm willing to give it away for free. If anon wishes to donate, I won't turn them down, however.

How Battered is it? I'd be willing to pay a few quid for it. :D
