Title: Aims and Objectives

Aims and Objectives for Operation Wood Clearance:

Background

Chelmsley Wood is a predominately lower working class area; with higher than average unemployment, drug problems and lots of single parents. Whilst there aren't probably that many rich people in the area, there are a lot of the kind of vulnerable people that Scilons prey on with their e-meters.

Currently, they set up a marquee with a few books, 2 e-meters and offer "free stress tests". Most people in the area are probably unaware as to who Co$ are (except maybe for remembering Tom Cruise is a Scilon); the vast majority won't have heard of Anonymous or Project Chanology.

Aims

As Scilons are offering these free stress tests, it is vitally important that we make people aware that the e-meters that they are using do not work.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-meter

Wiki gives a good outline explanation of how they are supposed to work - read this and familiarise yourself with it, so you can explain to people confidently that Scilons are nothing but shysters and charlatans.

It is is also important that Scilons do not expand their number by recruiting people from the area - most of whom will not have into contact with Co$ before. Whilst I will not deny that there is a massive chav element in Chelmsley, it is our duty for the cause to make sure these people are aware of the dangers of Co$.

Epic win would be to drive Co$ away from recruiting in the area.

Needed: Leaflets, and signs. This isn't a protest for rickrolling so much as a serious protest for stopping Co$ expanding. They have only been in Chelmsley for two months at the most. I have already recce'd twice - I shall make a third recce this weekend, but I shall have to be careful because I wasn't masked the previous two times.

Any further info required?

Gentlemen, i propose we meet en masse at Brum (or at the bus station in the area of Chelmsley Wood if it better suits) Masked, Suited, and signed inc. Pamphlets before the 10th.

We must educate the public.

Could someone inform the police of a peaceful protest?

Just to confirm, it's not a bus station - just a bus stop.

Best thing to do is to meet in a set place - where I've marked on the map, which is the 97/97a stop out of town.

Have we got May 3rd set? If so, I can inform the police/centre management if people tell me what I need to say to do it right.

Would it help if I posted pics from Chelmsley to familiarise yourself with rendez-vous points?

Also, what time?

I think that a mass meet in Brum would probably be a good idea. We can all go in together, eliminating the period of waiting around that we had in Happy Shopper.

Could someone confirm with TWM if we can be masked on the bus?

I doubt you'd be allowed to.

Why?

Swap to bandanas, or non-mask face coverings.
Or.. burqas?

All buses have CCTV cameras

Falco - April 16, 2008 07:28 PM (GMT)
If on in line, raise mask to bus driver, then replace? Only the driver should see face then. Might be allowed.

Wear an obstructive hat and a bandana, with shades. I don't see the problem there.

(nods)

If we ask nicely, they may permit us to wear our masks on the bus, if we give him a sticker?

I like your idea!

SUCCESS!

Did you go on wearing it, or put it on whilst on?

646 - April 16, 2008 07:44 PM (GMT)
i walked on masked without paying and told the driver to suck his mom.

646 = knob head when drunk.

i guess at least 100 people getting on would be a bit different to one drunken chav. they'd probably be like wtf, but i dont think they could say anything. the exception being for people with bus passes.
"i look like this photo underneath the mask, i promise"

almajir - April 16, 2008 08:05 PM (GMT)
I won't be wearing a mask for the protest - I'll be looking like this:
