Really we don't need to be worried about this whole banning of the word cult thing. The police in Brum have never suggested we would be stopped from using the word.

This case against the Anon in London will either be dropped before it gets to court or he will win the case.

Even if he loses the case, there are over 100,000 words in the English language so we would be stopped from using 1 of them. We would just need to word things differently.

The Scilons may be able to stop us using certain words but they can't stop us telling the truth. They're afraid of the truth, and they should be, it's the truth that will bring them down.

Epic Nose Guy is not going to lose the case in London; he was quoting Mr Justice Latey (1984 ruling, High Court). the OED definition of a cult and the UK charity Cult Information Centre (http://www.cultinformation.org.uk/) stance on CoS; any lawyer/solicitor worth their salt will get this laughed out of court in less than 30 minutes.

CoS will get yet another PR black eye, and City of London police (CoLP) will be under question as to why they proceeded with this, when the Met police were happy (even after the CPS advised CoLP that is wasn't a problem ("A CPS spokesman said no specific advice was given to police regarding the boy's placard." from ARS)).

TL;DR: CoLP are interpreting the law wrong and are being jumped on by a lot of people about this. Non-issue. <_<

The CPS will most likely take one look at the papers filed by CoLP and throw them out. CO$ solicitors won't get a look in, it's not a civil case.
