DaftHats - June 14, 2008 12:08 PM (GMT)
I'm hoping for many tales of win to be told!

zabi - June 14, 2008 04:13 PM (GMT)
Managed to get the message across to alot of people, even without the use of fliers, also alot of people intriuiged to what was going on and generally was a fun day.

Epic win I believe.

In addition the the police/CSO comment, the one guy that once again called "Ron is gone but the con lives on" was great.

People actually stopping to chat this time - I have to say, mainly thanks to 'goose.

1812's Caek!
And then 'mousse's later.

Have a couple of e-mail addresses and websites I've been given as well, I'm gonna get in contact with the reports soon, as requested.

The "convert" almost as soon as we turned up, faily good really.

IRCfags actually stayed longer this time - still went a bit early though.

76s costume. Easily best dressed pirate.

Food and drink provided by GW/Bucko/'1812/Willonomous/'mousse.

Helmetanon's "How many members do we have? Over 9000." The delivery on that was great.

MARRIAGE.

Necrosis - June 14, 2008 08:42 PM (GMT)
- Loads of people showing interest and wanting to talk to us. There were less negative comments this time round.

- Everyone helped spread the word while having fun aswell.

- The community safety officers being uber cool and supporting us (even if they couldnt say it directly)

Special mention for the goose.
- He talked non stop to the public. Without him we wouldnt of got the message to alot of people. He put in 110% ad had some great literature to tell people about. So thanks goose. Plus he spoke to someone who actually met l.ron which was pretty cool.

Overall, I thought today was very good. Everyone was more friendly than the last time - anons and the public.

Can't wait till the July protest! Thanks guys (ill put any pics i have up in a couple of days)

The sword fights xD

Bow River - June 16, 2008 05:32 PM (GMT)
Thanks to all for accepting me in your number on my first appearance at a protest. It was good to hear the explanations being given to enquiring public, I learned a great deal from all in attendance, not least that I should have brought cake! I will certainly have appropriate signs ready for next time as I felt rather useless at times without anything to hold.
