Peoples opinions of this?
Worth backing or neutrality?
I know its America, but Anonymous is still anonymous.

This gives us the hackers on steroids image again. Damn fox.

Well, does the hacking incident benefit anyone other than someone's curiosity? There were suspicions of abuse of power, apparently. Does the hacking prove / disprove this?

Basically: if it helped, we back it. If not, then we announce our differentially. That's my vote.

While Project Chanology doesn't support the illegal methods used in the Sarah Palin email leak, the leak has several erstwhile important developments:

    * She used her yahoo account to do business communications specifically to get around government regulations and investigations.
    * She, as a public official, is showing us two faces and hiding the truth on the internet.
    * Anonymous has always been champions of internet freedom.
    * We cannot tolerate abuses of the internet.
    * While we took no part in the leaking of the information, we hope that whoever did will continue to do so to expose the two face corruption of our politicians on both sides. They don't have to follow the laws. Why is this exposure such a big deal? Politicians everywhere are scared of us now. They know that the more radical elements in Anonymous can strike at any time.
    * Let this be a lesson: the internet is not a safe place. While Chanology is working for the good of people by dismantling scientology in the confines of applicable laws, not all of Anonymous feels the need for these restrictions.

from what i rember from talking to people who read more into this than me, they didn't relay hack anything. they used the "resquest password featuer" witch had something along the lines of "where did i meet my partner" as her secret question along with her zip code

to me this just shows incompetents in the Americana govement that this sort of info is public knowledge (or available with some googleing), and then using it for govenemnt use.

also there is still no proof that this is her count could just be some good shooping to try and get some credit with hackers.

what ever the result this is anonymous not everyone protests and the name can be used by anyone, for any reason and we have to live with that. but anything that shows how people who are trying, to run for control of a world superpower try to dodge legal procedure deserve everything they get.

And the moral of the story is: stupid bint is stupid, Obama for president.

If this is true, Anonymous as a group didn't hack her, a single person did, who then handed the password to /b/:
