Oh, and did anyone else notice the Scifag taking random pictures of people coming out of the Pallisades exit from New Street jsut before 11 this morning?

I didn't see, got in about 10.30 i think... I was wearing shades and a scarf, bumped into 2 Anons on the way, one informed me where the Starbucks was.

I was the dude with the brown curly hair, suit and sign with names and "Scientology kills. Ask:" I spent most of my time at the top of the street.

I had a bloody blast! AND... AND... We won the GRAND SLAM!!!! What a day! :D :D

Who was the fella with the Anon stickers with the info on them? Wanna see if i can make some, i had fun sticking them on the train and bus :P

The people at my local train station had a shock when i went to get my umbrella from my bag and my V mask fell out... oh the looks i had! :rolleyes:

Also. While everyone was up on the main street i took a little stroll down to the entrance i started chatting with the guard on the door. Now i don't know if any part of what he told me was true, but what a nice chap he was.

I noticed, like last time, a lot of people walking past again and again (some the same people as last time, so i'm not being completely paranoid).

have people here heard of the scilon term "glee"?
methinks that's what they were doing this time. last month they were scowling all the time, but this time they were laughing at absolutely everything.
when fair game was being read out, someone going by (not sure whether it was one of the repeats or not, didn't see who it was) just started laughing their head off crazily.


we got a lot of attention, especially when the meme sessions were going on outside the 'church'. people going past on new st were very interested then.

for some reason though, people still aren't sure whether we're against or for sci-topology until we tell them (I did notice that leaflet people started saying "against" as quickly as possible after a while, that seemed to work).
also, my sign seemed to go over most people's heads. maybe it wasn't as well put as I thought it was.
to solve both of those problems, next time my sign is going to have massive letters saying "scientology = BAD. brainwashing and stuff" do you think the average brummy would get that?


one more thing: when the crowd outside the 'church' were doing "scientology kills", it ended up (to me) sounding like "kill scientology", because it was repeated so fast and I didn't hear the start properly. not ideal, really

Well done everyone. I was the lad with the Lisa McPherson/Shawn Lonsdale sign. Me and Anon76 had a fantastic day and all hyped up for April 12th - Operation Reconnect.

Still quite drunk as me and my fellow Jaques had quite a few on the way home W00T!

I noticed that as well, I had several people ask me when I was giving out fliers why I was promoting the Church, how our religion was stupid, and tons of other similar things were also shouted out by passers-by.

Good turn out today, and was pretty successful if I say so myself. Megaphone beatboxer here.

That's a classic one.

The girl that was with me & I walked through town to get to Ethel Street. We put on our dark shades as we did so. I couldn't help thinking what passersby must have thought: Why are those two people wearing such dark shades on such a cloudy day.

I also noticed one Anon drowning in his mask. He removed it for a few short secs as moisture was running down the insides. He almost revealed his identity LOL. Lucky we shielded the fella.

I think some of the non-disguised anons must of thought it was a bit of a mistake to come so 'naked' too. I was also impressed at the number of ordinary members of the public who joined us on the spur of the moment (at least 4 or 5). We must have made a nice impact for that to happen.

I only saw 2 people from the visual media taking footage but I also know that another 2 were from the print side. I noticed a guy from the media department of Bham Uni was there - I'll keep my eyes and ears open on campus and get back to you. (Ps: No, I'm not a student scinos - try again).

Even though me and two fellow anons i was with had to go early, we were talkin to this guy who was with us but no mask. (he was bald with glasses and was with the BIGGGG fella in the red top 'n hat) And was tellin us how scientology had tryed to sue him and he was there unanymously(sp?) because they already new who he was. He said he was one of 26 people :o but i cant remember his name >(

so anyway wd all i think it was really sucessfull today :)

Thanks a lot for the stickers! Yeah, the unmasking seemed strange to me too, and may have made wearing masks for the rest of the day a bit pointless.

I hated the unmask idea and I apologize for asking people to do so after Operation:Global Speech. I asked if they wanted anything else said, they said to tell everyone to unmask so I did. I just lifted mine slightly and bowed my head though. Anyways, horrible idea in my opinion. I am not sure who thought of it originally but me no likey. Also, is it possible a $ciplant gave us this idea? It seems that is exactly what they would want. I also think that because the reasoning behind it was 'as a sign of respect for the dead' and with that said it is awfully difficult to say no as you seem disrespectful... Scilons are good at that kind of approach.

Btw... dave mentioned an epic fail speech. To which are you referring? Operation: Global Speech?

I liked the unmask thing. It was unexpected and showed that we are not scared of them. I felt it was a "Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!" moment. It was probably the closest we got to being confrontational. They didn't come and have a go, so they ain't hard enough!

I recorded the speach and silence, when the masks came off i lowered the camera so i couldn't see peoples heads. Will stick them on the nets later.

Yeah, you saw me - but I forgot to ask for the stickers in the end. I had a few which I gave out, just never got round to asking for the big stack.
