Title: Daily star questions scientology
Chaotic-Eris - January 6, 2009 02:04 PM (GMT)
Todays daily star leads with a headline on page 13 that John Travolta and his wife are to be questioned over the possibility they withheld medicine from their son Jett. It also has a side column about how scientology can cure dyslexia. Anyone see it?

Hollywood actor John Travolta is to be quizzed over his dead son’s drug treatment.
The Grease star, 54, and wife Kelly Preston, 46, will be questioned over claims they withheld medicine. |

Thanks.
They said it was causing his liver damage, but before i make a decision on what happened, i want to know what religion his regular doctor is, and the lawyers involved.
If its a conspiracy of Silence, i have a feeling Anonymous is going to blow it into the spotlight.

atm it would be bad publicity for anon to even mention Jett.
There has been nothing official and as much as it may seem tempting, just because Travolta is a scientologist does not mean they were actually bad parents or whatever.
Give it a few months to see what truly went on.

I was explaining that to a fellow anon last night. I mean, we couldn't dare mention Travolta or Jett because when all is said and done, forgetting religion for a moment, what has happened is an appalling tragedy.

When everyone was saying that Jett was dead I thought it was Joan Jett that was dead. I was so happy for that short time :(

It is tragic but like it or not this is big news, people on the street may bring it up and I think it's worth having an opinion on by Saturday.
If nothing else it's a golden opportunity to educate people about $cientology's attitude to medicine and the welfare of its followers, whether physical, mental or PTS.

You're right anonstick. its like when i heard,i thought of the way scientologists view death as the careless loss of a body.

point taken but approach with care.
Negative publicity not good.

There's a side column on the 11th page of the daily star. Scientology are actively denying any intervention with Jett.
Chaotic-Eris - January 7, 2009 07:14 PM (GMT)
Oh yeah, also in the daily star,Will Smith said about Scientology that he believes his son can see into the future.

Again, in the daily star (I am not a tabloid whore, i assure you) they are covering the funeral of Jett Travolta in which a scientology prayer was said that willed him to be reborn and not to stay.
It said that John Travolta was very very upset and grieving bitterly.
So, if we did say anything at this point, dereogatory or not, then we'd be making a mistake, i feel.

It doesn't follow that because JT is upset we should not say anything.
I think it's dealt with adequately in the
other thread. My take on it is that I definitely wouldn't mention Jett's death on a sign or flyer, but I expect that members of the public will bring it up in conversation and if so I'm happy to venture a hopefully informed opinion.
