Title: Daily Mail (gulp) does article
Description: Daily mail on the Jett story

I never thought I'd say this but the Daily has a brilliant story on the sad case of Jett Travolta. A must read.

The Story is Here.

Looks like the gloves have come off.

QUOTE (Sidebar)

Did John Travolta's weird faith seal his son Jett's fate?  The cult has a fanatical opposition to conventional medicine.

QUOTE (Daily Mail)

Just as in the case of Jett Travolta, however, nobody will ever know if things might have turned out differently had conventional medicine - and wisdom - been allowed to help these poor benighted souls.

The least they deserved was a chance to recover, with genuine science used to help them rather than the unabashed quackery which Scientologists spout with such vehemence.

QUOTE (Daily Mail)

And so the slick and inexorable expansion of this dangerous religious cult continues unabated, helped on its way by the endorsement of privileged celebrities who have long since parted company from the reality of everyday life.

Meanwhile, all around the world at this very moment, thousands more children whose families are Scientologists are at risk of suffering the same fate as Jett Travolta. But you won't hear the film stars talking about that.

It was in today's print edition, which was handy in the pub.

WEIRD FAITH

BIZARRE FAITH

CULT

DANGEROUS RELIGIOUS CULT

THEY SAID MY EPILEPSY WAS PSYCHOSOMATIC

FANATICAL OPPOSITION TO CONVENTIONAL MEDICINE

SLICK AND INEXORABLE EXPANSION

UNABASHED QUACKERY

I think the journalist's bought into CoS propaganda regarding expansion, otherwise it's a great article.

Well, we knew it would get coverage, but I think this tops our expectations, especially looking at the quotes and selections in this thread.

We couldn't have hoped for a better article.

The article's been pulled (how mysterious), but if anyone still wants to read it it's quoted on WWP here, and there are also pictures of the print version.
