*Takes a deep breath*
If I hear one tearful sob from this den of Moralfaggotry I swear I will never share another /b/lackop with you.
This was a collaborated assault in NYC on the Times Square scientology org and the CLO east coast headquarters. It was funny as fuck and suck my bald dick if you dont like it. Also, it wasn't me.

Again, much lulz to be had here. Release him, I mean, he was covered in pubes and vasaline - I hardly call that a hate crime... just bizarre!!

Was he breaking any specific law, other than breach of the peace?
Falco - January 16, 2009 04:39 PM (GMT)
It's not even that, really.
Plus, American laws.
They've got him on harassment (possible), breaking and entering (bullshit), hate crime (due to saying he's against them), and another I forgot about, IIRC.
anonocelot - January 16, 2009 06:25 PM (GMT)
I just love the way they plaster "hate crime" onto it. That term gets so misused.... Especially by $cilons.
ScudMuffin - January 17, 2009 08:06 PM (GMT)
It ain't a hate thing, it's a love thing!
Brumerican - January 17, 2009 11:34 PM (GMT)
Am I wrong in thinking that a stunt like this just makes us look like a bunch of immature idiots?
Don't get me wrong, I think it is hilarious and definitely worthy of lulz but our goals our serious and when the media picks up on this it reflects very poorly on the movement as a whole.
Thoughts?
willonomous - January 18, 2009 12:08 AM (GMT)
to be fair i agree. But is still quite funny.
mjk - January 18, 2009 12:35 AM (GMT)
pubes is funny lolol
Nah, the whole idea behind anon is "lol we don't endorse that, we don't do that, cells do whatever"

I do agree, whilst stunts like this are funny, we gotta remember the reason why we protest. Lulz is a fun addition to protesting an issue more serious, and what we don't want is people not taking us seriously.

In your view.
In mine, the reason I protest IS for the lulz.
Yes, this was an immature prank. Think about how this movement started though, with DDoS, black faxes, prank calls and so on. Everyone acts as an individual, which by now the media should be aware of, and so has no overall effect on the movement as a whole.
I find it amusing how this has came a full circle over on WWP. It started off with pranks, then when things got more serious, people complained. When this happened, those same people were complaining we weren't being serious.
Chaotic-Eris - January 19, 2009 02:23 PM (GMT)
Although we protest for a serious reason, we mustn't forget what we are bred from.
Lulz must ensue.
Though the dude got arrested, and probably frost bitten nipples (middle of Jan-wtf?) he deserves accolade because he drew attention to the cause. And all attention is good attention.
