Erm, no.
Our resident macfag would have a seizure, the server would fall over and die from embarrassment at serving animated GIFs and I would go on a rampage through the wiki deleting everything that moved.
TL;DR: No animated GIFs. :P

Why?
Animated GIFs are the most annoying things on the web, except when sparingly used for smilies.
The front page needs to get across an overview of what/who/where/why in less than 111 words (
http://www.useit.com/alertbox/percent-text-read.html); adding a 30s animated GIF which can't be paused, stopped or skipped isn't the way to convey info.
TL;DR: No animated GIFs :P

lol i was thinking more along the lines of for youtube, meby a few shorts to convey things like rpf and sea org, or somthing like that.

We shouldn't load brumanon.co.uk up with stuff about the Sea Org/RPF/Disconnection/anti psych etc etc, else we'd end up with another xenu.net.
brumanon.co.uk is for us to organise our raids and only for that IMO.

Yeah dw 323 i get the point you making there, i didnt plan on loading brumanon with it, i was thinking of sticking them on youtube.... as in not brumanon :)

I knew you meant post videos to youtube, which would be excellent (a video TL;DR overview of scilon stuff especially so); but it'd end up being embedded at brumanon.co.uk, which isn't what its for.
