knocking on strangers doors in masks is nowhere near sparta, its just plain madness. epic epic fail. you're asking to be arrested. people are generally very savvy and anyone knocking on the door should be asked for photo-ID.

I sadly agree. Masks and people's front doors are unlikely to be good.

Masks will not go down well at all. I for one would not stand with my front door open while 2 or 3 people in masks try to tell me how crazy some church is. And im over 6ft tall, so i don't think a little old dear of a granny would even open the door before calling the 'feds'.

Even going up to peoples front doors to post fliers with masks on would be a bit of a no no.

Well we will have to consider it, but it looks like masks may be out for leafletting and for house to house Q&A.

Face to face (in a sense) is always better than just random flyers.

On the streets, informing the public in the flesh is the best method. If we want to go house to house, wear an Anonymous badge or something (And start with "We aren't here to sell you anything or ask you to take a survey, just to inform you about the CoS ...) I agree that a mask will intimidate residents in house to house mode; could we have a largish protest/public information event on the high street and at the same time unmasked anon going round the local area? This would have the benefit that the scilons would most likely go for the large crowd, and if there were scilons in the local area the unmasked anon could retreat to the "main" protest quite quickly.

I bet EPIC (lol yes epic) skatepark would let us leave some fliers with them. We could also try the local pubs in the area. Maybe they would let us leave some leaflets or literature with them.

Also, we should take advantage of the local Christian and Muslim community's. They'll almost certainly be on our side.

It may not be precisely correct, but if we aim for that area it'll do the most good and accurate.

Yes! Get the pubs, the skate parks, whatever. I think a leafletting campaign is the best thing for the area as well, it's not so important that we speak to people, just that we let them know about the 'church'. The vast majority of people will be against it. I can already sense the win. And frankly, I will not allow a new church to form there. No.

We can also have a mini protest in Moseley Village. I know people who'd be up for it normally, as well as anon, and even the local council representitives so we'd get combined might, and lots of exposure.

Whenever anyone feels up for the beginnings of a flier campaign, let me know. I might start spreading the muck anyway on my own but more people equals more utter pwnage.

Unless we utterly f*ck up here, we can probably make the biggest difference out of many anon worldwide. They will NOT get any property in Moseley, nor will their puppet organisations.

I think we need signatures from local residents that we can show to the council and the local papers. This would work better than a protest, because there are no Scientologists in the area yet, so a protest would be wasted energy.

Nah, it wouldn't be a waste at all... you'd get coverage over the main church and you'd get tonnes of people wanting to know why we were protesting.

But you're right, I think there's better ways we can expend our energy. I just reckon we should keep it in mind as I'm almost certain that we'd get huge support from the locals, and rousings are what we need.

Only ever driven through it accidentally, so by "high street" I meant anywhere with the main row of shops/high foot traffic.

Ok, this is begining to expand alot more than I first expected and I hate to suddenly put a damper on things, but we really really need confirmation on facts before we do anything. Otherwise we will discredit anonymous completely.
