Again, even if it turns out that they're not going to bother, there's no way it could turn against us.

For instance, if it turns out they're not going to buy it there due to the fact that they know they'd fail, that's an instant win for us, as we want to stop them spreading. Even if it turns out it was just an enquiry, we're not going to come off any worse if we send out leaflets saying "be aware that scientologist have expressed interest in property in your area" or something, and not only that, but people will want to find out more about why scientology is bad, thus gaining more exposure and negative press against them.

Nope, I cannot see anything that puts a dampener on this. We can't balls it up unless we're truly cretinous about it.

Ok, the Revised Plan of Action tongue.gif

On an unspecified date, post Easter weekend. The Anons involved will arrive at a designated meeting point. Appear in suits, and don glasses.

We will leaflet drop the area directly surrounding the "Church-to-be"

When we have run out of leaflets, or completed our rounds, we will then head to the Village Centre and set up shop, we will then don masks or glasses depending on preference. Where we will do Q&A.

This should be a precurser to any sizeable raid. The reason for this, is that I feel just appearing in force with no obvious prepared reason in a small and noncentral location will simply cause more confusion as to our reasons.

Any other comments?

Sounds like a damn fine idea. We'd have to let the council know what we're doing in case we get shuffled on by the police.

It sounds like it might be worth doing a small thing first, just to spread awareness before getting loads of people involved. About 5/10 of us first for Lol Leaflet and maybe chips or something if anyone can be arsed. If we let the fliers and stuff just settle in, then do a protest later on, it might do more good.

Actually, saying that, any number is okay. I'm more thinking of convienience. I can get to moseley without any real trouble so I'm happy to take on the bulk of activities along with anyone else who's willing. The more the merrier frankly, but I don't want people overexerting themselves when we can do the same thing far easier.

I does reckon we should meet in the village, as there's no chance of us getting accosted if we're somewhere obvious. We should bring maps for people who aren't sure or who have crap direction like myself, and sackfuls of fliers. I think scarves, sunglasses and suits will probably do. Then we can split into groups of 3 or whatever and do roads, in a typically awesome fashion.

Good stuff Anongram. I think we're thinking along the same lines here.

I'm up for it... But concerned about Scilon lurkers...

What if, once we've got a confirmed list of People, we confirm specifics (Time, date & Place) via PM?

I'm up for this too. I'd need a few directions on how to get to Mosely, and a simplified map, as I'm not familiar with the area myself. Not too sure if i'll be able to attend, it will mainly depend on the time and date, so once I know this, I'll let you all know.
And as above, I agree with 1812 - everything should be discussed with those that are going via PMs.

It's not a question of whether or not it's built, the building exists. We know it does, it's whether they've bought the property in moseley or not.
